Position Overview

  1. To maintain and update payroll records in payroll system such as Smart Payroll, IPayroll, Cloud Payroll, Xero, Crystal and Pay Hero
  2. Recording and payments of expense claims. Handle employee advances recording.
  3. Maintain annual leave records. Responsible for payroll journal entries.
  4. Ensure accuracy and on time pay.
  5. Front liner of all payroll related queries and keeping employees informed for any updates and announcement.
  6. To complete compliance, reporting and clerical duties

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

Essential

  • Passionate about payroll
  • Payroll and bookkeeping qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years payroll/bookkeeping experience, preferable with SME’s
  • Very good written and oral English communication
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Ability to perform in a paperless environment
  • Strong time management

Preferred

  • BPO experience
  • Experience working with New Zealand or Australian SME’s
  • New Zealand or Australian payroll knowledge
  • Xero Payroll certified
  • Experience with accounting software – Xero, Smart Payroll, Ipayroll, Cloud Payroll, Pay Hero
  • Experience working remotely for offshore clients
