Sustainability & Carbon Accounting: ClockworX Planting Action Day
At ClockworX, we believe that meaningful action beats good intentions, and we’re proud to back that up with our ongoing partnership with CarbonInvoice™. Since September 2023, every invoice we send has helped fund native planting projects right here in Aotearoa.
But on Thursday 15 May, our team got to swap keyboards for gumboots and join the action in person at the Auckland Planting Action Day.
We rolled up our sleeves at the Papakura Stream Restoration Project in Auckland, planting alongside a passionate crew of other Kiwi businesses. Together, we dug in and planted 930 native seedlings, that’s an incredible 59 trees per person!
These trees will help suck up carbon, clean up our waterways, and restore vital habitat for native birds, fish, and insects. A meaningful (and muddy) reminder of why climate action matters.
Our Hands On Approach To Sustainability
Planting days like this do more than offset emissions. They build connections to our planet, to each other, and to the future we’re helping shape. The restoration of Papakura Stream is a long-term commitment to ecological health, and we’re honoured to have played a small part in its journey.
Angela Fisher, Director and Founder of ClockworX, shared: “This has been a real highlight of 2025 so far. I loved being part of this impactful day with the awesome crew at CarbonInvoice™. Proud of our team for rolling up their sleeves and getting stuck in! These Planting Action Days are such a great reminder that meaningful carbon action matters. A big thank you to Carlos Chambers and the CarbonInvoice™ crew for having us!”
We’re incredibly proud of the team and grateful to CarbonInvoice™ for making it easy for businesses like ours to walk the talk on sustainability.
